Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee and manage our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Lebanese accounting standards and tax regulations, combined with proficiency in Odoo ERP. This role involves managing payables and receivables, processing payroll, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Finance (MoF) and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) requirements, and contributing to internal financial forecasts and budgets to support the company’s strategic goals.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments, collections, and maintaining financial sustainability.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, taxes, and NSSF contributions.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax-related documents in compliance with Lebanese regulations.
• Use Odoo ERP to maintain accurate financial records, generate internal forecasts, and prepare financial reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets to assist in financial planning and decision-making.
• Create and maintain financial documents, including forecasts, sustainability analyses, and operational budgets.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and NSSF to ensure compliance and timely tax payments.
• Contribute to the development of internal financial strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Expertise in Odoo ERP for accounting and financial management.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in Lebanon.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of Lebanese accounting standards, tax regulations, and NSSF requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality.
